Ann C. (Wilk) LaBine

   Ann C. (LaCoste) LaBine, age 84, formerly of Hancock, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, October 1, 2019 at the Atrium in Wisconsin Rapids.

   She was born October 24, 1934 in Chicago to the daughter of William and Jessie (White) Wilk. Ann was a Mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, also a dear friend to many.

 Ann moved to Hancock in the 1970’s from Chicago.  She also spent many years of her life in upper Michigan.  She loved being in the country where she raised dairy cows, enjoyed watching Green Bay Packer games and spending time with family.  Ann had many talents and hobbies, sewing, drawing and painting were just a few.  She was always a hard worker & very independent.  She loved her animals and living the farm life, milking cows and raising chickens and pigs and caring for all her dogs and cats over the years.  She also had a huge garden that yielded a variety of vegetables that she canned and froze.  Fresh baked bread was baked in her kitchen on a regular basis.   She was involved at one time or another in school activities, politics, patriotism and a variety of public services, including the Share program, fostering children, teaching school and bible studies.  She loved being a mother and most of all enjoyed family get togethers.  Her children were her pride and joy.

   She is survived by her children, Juli Webster , Robin Keepers, Cathy (Hank) Pole, Lisa LaCoste/ Neumann, Donna LaCoste, Bill LaCoste, Scott (Ginger) LaCoste, Mike LaBine; her 25 loving grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; her siblings,Diane Flick; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends

   She was preceded in death by her parents.

   A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.  Burial will be in the Hancock Cemetery with a meal to follow.
