Arnold Ueeck Obituary

  Arnold E. Ueeck, age 66, of Plainfield, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at his home.

He was born May 30, 1952 in Wild Rose the son of Elmo and Thelma (Leach) Ueeck. 

Arnold attended school in Hancock and Plainfield and was a lifelong resident of Plainfield.  He was a member of the Plainfield VFW and the Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus in Plainfield. 

Arnold enlisted into the Army in 1970.  He was proud to be a Vietnam Veteran and often thanked other veterans for their services.

Arnold enjoyed the time he spent driving his great uncle Ed to visit relatives in many states including Texas, California, Montana and Alaska in order to gather information about family history.  He especially enjoyed the time he spent in Alaska.

He also drove his aunt Margaret to many appointments, places and events.  In his spare time he loved traveling and seeing the backroads of Wisconsin.  He was a beloved brother and uncle with a kind and giving heart that will be missed by all that loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Thelma (Ueeck) Zingler, Plainfield; his siblings, Andrew and his sister, Nancy (Bill) Grantz, brother, William (Linda), sister, Patty (Paul) Libecki and sister-in-law, Betty. Further survived by many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.

He was preceded in death by his father Elmo, his brother, David and stepfather, Charles Zingler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Plainfield.  Burial with full military honors will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Wautoma.  Visitation will be held Friday evening, January 4, 2019 at the Stahl Funeral Home from 5:00 until 6:45 with a rosary service to follow.  Visitation will also be held from 12:00 noon Saturday until the time of services at the church.  For online condolences or to share a story with Arnold’s family please visit, www.stahlfuneralhome.com

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Arnold’s name can be made to the Plainfield VFW, Disabled American Veterans or St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
