Brenda Sue (Calkins) Ross

Brenda Sue Ross (Calkins) of Redgranite, wi passed away on Sunday November 26th surrounded by family and close friends.

Brenda was born in Oshkosh on October 24th, 1961 to Leroy and Edna Calkins. She was the second youngest to five children. Growing up Brenda attended Oshkosh schools where she loves spending time with her cousins and family.

In 1983 Brenda married and proceeded to have two children. She then spent her time being a stay home mom as well as a fur-baby mom to all of the animals she had over the years including ferrets, cats, chinchillas, birds, fish, and her most favorite animals; her dogs.

Later in life Brenda enjoyed visiting with friends, watching football/wrestling, and listening to country music. Above anything else she loved being a grandma to grandchildren and a pet parent to her beloved dogs and cat.

Brenda is survived by her children Glen (Pam) Ross, Danielle (Jeremy) Brandenstein. Her  grandchildren Alison, Hailey, Shelby and Vincent. She is also survived by her siblings Debra (Robbie) Johnson,  Jeff (Pauline) Calkins, Julie (Jim) Whitt and Roy (Angie) Calkins. Also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Brenda is proceeded in death by her parents Leroy and Edna Calkins, her grandson Brantley Brandenstein, and close friends Dale and Cindy Tiffany. Along with her favorite dogs Gino and Tia.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Thedacare at home hospice for the care they gave her on her final days. They would also like to thank her caregivers and close friends that helped her during her illness.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
