Biography

Christopher J. Thrun, age 4, of Hancock, passed away Monday evening, December 1, 2014 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born August 13, 2010 at Wausau, the son of Elizabeth A. Thrun.
Christopher was currently attending 4K at Tri-County Area Schools. He was an honorary lifetime member of the Hancock Volunteer Fire Department, Plainfield Fire Department and Plover Fire Department. He was also a member of the Truck'n Buddy's Car Club of Stevens Point and the Trucking Community.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth A. (Nathan Fink) Thrun; his brother, Nathan Fink Jr.; maternal grandparents, Leonard and Michelle Thrun; paternal grandparents, Melvin Rios and Heidi Kabitzke; aunts and uncles, Laura (Robert) Lippert, Russell (Tracy) Thrun, Ryan Fink and Dakota Valles; further survived by cousins other relatives and many special friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield with the Rev. Eric L. Hambrock officiating. Burial will be in the Hancock Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral and from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of services.
