Dennis Atchley

A much-loved husband, father, grandfather and brother Dennis M Atchley 72 of Wautoma passed away surrounded by his family May 30, 2025. He had bravely battled cancer for 5 years. Dennis was born November 22, 1952, in Norfolk, Virginia, the son of Morris and Betty (Atchley). He married the love of his life Dawn Metz on February 17, 2001, in Rockton, Illinois.

Dennis was employed as a Production Operations Manager with many large companies, retiring from Forest City Gear in Roscoe, Illinois. Dennis had his own business, Preferred Business Solutions, for several years. He and Dawn loved camping in Wisconsin so following retirement they moved to their retirement home on Waushara County Golf Course. Dennis had a spirit of adventure and was always ready to race a car, raft the white water, climb a mountain, go paragliding, play a round of golf, ride his snowmobile and just enjoy life to the fullest. His family will always remember the fun he provided with these adventures. His greatest accomplishment was his children and grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart.

Dennis is survived by his wife Dawn Atchley, Wautoma, his children Tasha (Alex) Lasala, Tyler (Caitland) Atchley and Ryan Pea (Katie), his grandchildren Liam McFadden, Ella Atchley, Christian Lasala, Dakota Lasala, Alaia Atchley and Pierce Fonner.

A time to share memories and celebrate his life will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. In the Stahl Celebration and Remembrance Center, W7452 State Road 21/73, Wautoma.
