Donald E. Wesner, age 90, of Berlin and Redgranite, passed away into eternal life on April 14, 2026 at Thedacare Berlin Hospital.
Don was born September 5, 1935, the son of Bernard and Elsie (Bowe) Wesner. He married Joyce J. Braun.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Joyce J. Wesner; his stepdaughters, Debra Rystrom and Cheryl Ennis; his nephews, John, Dan, Robert, Tom and Bill Wesner and Paul, Jim and David Albright. His nieces, Barb (Wesner) Holup, Cindy (Wesner) Westphal, Beth (Albright) Fisher and Bonnie (Albright) Spencer.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Elsie Wesner, a sister, Marcille (Wesner) Albright and brothers, Myron, Gorden and Roy.
Donald resided on 29th Lane in Berlin for over 50 years with his work time of 35 years spent in Lannon, Wisconsin. He worked in several Quarries in Lannon and working his last 25 years at Halquest Quarry before retiring back to his home on 29th Lane. Donald was an avid hunter and fisherman spending a lot of time in Canada and Michigan. He graduated from Berlin High School in 1953 where he excelled in football and cross country. He enjoyed his weekly trips to local bars to place his bet on his favorite sports teams. He also enjoyed spending winter months with his wife Joyce in Arizona for approximately 25 years. Don enjoyed life and traveling.
