Florentino A. Nino

Florentino A. Niño, age 76, of Wautoma, passed away Saturday morning, November 18, 2023 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born October 16, 1947 in Texas the son of Eduardo Niño and Manuela Alamillo. He married Yolanda Niño on December 2, 1970 in San Benito, TX.
Florentino was raised in Mexico and later he moved to Texas where was employed as a sanitation worker for many years until his retirement. He moved to the Wautoma area in 2008 where he enjoyed spending time cooking out with his family. He had a passion for gardening and tending to his pets.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda; his children, Rosa Rivera (Ruben+), Irene Martinez (Angel), Juan Niño (Julie), Cynthia Niño (Alberto), Adriana Vasquez (Dario), and Gloria Niño (Shaun); 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and one on the way; his siblings, Guadalupe Niño, Maria Elena Gaspar, Jose Niño, Aurelio Niño, Jesus Niño, Eduardo Niño, San Juana Niño; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Stahl Celebration & Remembrance Center in Wautoma. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Wautoma.
