Gladys Kreel

Gladys L. Kreel, age 85, of Wautoma, passed away early Saturday morning, June 11, 2011 at Theda-Clark Medical Center, Neenah. She was born in Milwaukee, the daughter of Walter and Helen (Bettinger) Ode. She married David J. Kreel on Feb. 14, 1959. He preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 2003. Gladys was employed at Cutler-Hammer Corp. in Milwaukee for many years. After retirement, she and her late husband moved from Oak Creek to the Town of Mount Morris. She was an active member of the Waushara/Wautoma Senior Citizens. She is survived by her children, James (Diane) Kreel, Jacqualine (Victor) Shtaida, and Donald Kreel;grandchildren- children; brother, Roland Ode; sister, Ellen (Arnold) Luhm. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and by one brother, Walter Ode.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma. Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 15, 2001 at Good Hope Cemetery, Greenfield. Memorials would be appreciated to the Waushara/Wautoma Senior Citizens, W8820 Cottonville Ave., Wautoma, WI 54982
