Jean A. Keenlance

Jean A. Keenlance, age 59, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully, Friday morning, January 7, 2022 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose.

She was born December 14, 1962 in Wild Rose, the daughter of James and Eleanor (Jeffery) Keenlance.

Jean attended Tri-County Schools. She enjoyed the outdoors especially Trout fishing, riding Harley Davidson and gardening.  Jean co-owned and operated the Talk of the Town Bar in Plainfield. She also worked at Pop-A-Top Bar in Bancroft and later was employed at Shelmet Precision Casting Company in Wild Rose. Jean lived her life on her own terms.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Kelly Keenlance; her son, Lucas Romaine; three grandchildren, Nakia, D'Angelo and Ashaun; her siblings, Ron (Susan) Keenlance, Gary (Billie Jean) Keenlance, Jim “Jay” (Laura) Keenlance, Tim Keenlance and Buddy Keenlance; her special friend, Greg Bindel; her uncle, Andrew Jeffery; further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents and one brother Mark Keenlance.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Plainfield Cemetery in the spring.
