John F. Bronk, age 81, of Wild Rose, passed away peacefully, Saturday afternoon, January 10, 2026 at his home with his family at his side.
He was born July 4, 1944 in Wisconsin the son of Raymond J. and Margaret A. (Schaak) Bronk. He married Brenda Ann Beckett on April 2, 2007. John served his country in the United States Marines from 1966-1968 when he was honorably discharged. He owned and operated his own construction company, ProTech Roofing for many years until he sold and finished his career as a bus driver for 14 years with the wild rose school district. John enjoyed the outdoors where you could find him fishing, hunting (teaching) trapping and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, working in the yard and just enjoying nature. John had a special love for his hunting dog Abbey. John also had a very good Marine buddy Mike Morse.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda A. Bronk, Wild Rose; his children, son Robert Rynders and daughter Dawn Derntz; four grandchildren, and his sibling, Mary Wendt; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents.
To honor John’s wishes, private family services with military honors and burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, in King.
