Larry "Butch" Sawyer

Larry H. “Butch” Sawyer, age 66, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away January 2, 2024 at the Tomah VA Medical Center, after a courageous battle with Cancer.

He was born February 10, 1957 in Stevens Point, the son of Glen and Lois (Walters) Sawyer.  He married Linda M. Dreva on February 29, 1980 and had 43 wonderful years together.

Larry served his country in the United States Army.  He worked various jobs over his life, lastly he was employed at Wisconsin Rapids Ford.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.  He also enjoyed working on old cars and going to the casino with Linda.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda M. Sawyer, Wisconsin Rapids; his three children, Adam (Jenny) Sawyer, LeRoy Sawyer and Eve (Shane) Balocca; his 9 loving grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.
