Lawrence E. Babcock

Lawrence E. Babcock, age 80, of Fond du lac, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Meadowbrook Assisted Living in Appleton.

He was born November 5, 1944 in Fond du lac the son of Lawrence and Lorraine (Haenagen) Babcock. He married Linda Moody on August 27, 1966 and they later divorced.

Lawrence served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam in the 11th ACR Regiment from 1969 until 1971. He received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart in service to his country.

He is survived by his two children, Lenny (Kathy) Babcock and Lucinda “Cindi” (Keith) Slovinski; his granddaughter, Ashley Babcock; his siblings, Donna Warner and Robert “Bob” (Mary Jane) Babcock; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother William "Billy" Babcock and granddaughter, Aiva Slovinski.
