Lisa M. McCauley

Lisa M. (McChesney) McCauley, age 42, of Plainfield, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, December 31, 2025 at her home.

She was born June 2, 1983 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Gary J. and Cynthia S. (Bradley) McChesney. She married Thomas D. McCauley on October 14, 2023.

Lisa attended Tri-County Schools and later found her dream job as a postmaster at the Plainfield Post Office. An energetic and outgoing woman, she enjoyed talking with people, cooking, bird watching and puzzles. She loved people and was always helping others plowing snow, mowing lawns or any task someone needed assistance with. Most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas McCauley of Plainfield; her children, Christopher and Dylan Windsor; sibling, Jennifer (Chris) Windsor; her mother, Cindy (Marshall) Stewart; and is further survived by other relatives and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father (Gary) and son (Devon).

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 12:00 noon in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services
