Lois A. (Jackson) Jakel

Lois A. Jakel, age 81, of Wautoma, formerly of Weston, passed away peacefully Saturday August 17, 2024 at Heartland House, CBRF with her family at her side.

She was born March 6, 1943 in Wausau, the daughter of James and Leila Mae Jackson.

She is survived by Sarah (John) Nixon of Wautoma, Bruce (Tina) Jakel of Marathon, Terry Jakel of Weston, Scott (Sarah) Jakel of Wausau, Erick Jakel of Tucson, AZ., Jason (friend, Karen) Jakel of Athens; her sister, Janice Mootz of Kronenwetter; brother, James Jackson Jr. of Madison and sister, Betty Rawson of Weston; further survived by grandchildren,  Isaac, Ethan and Hunter Jakel, Daryn Yessa and David Davis; further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; oldest son, James E. Jakel and uncles, aunts and stepfather, Emil Balz.
