Maggie Frisby passed away peacefully on March 5 2026 at her home in Wild Rose, Wisconsin. She was born November 14, 1946, in Evanston Illinois, the first of twin sisters to Patricia and Weston Frisby.
Maggie was a diehard Chicago Bears and Cubs fan with a big heart. A loyal friend with an excellent sense of humor and a caring and giving Aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She was an avid golfer cart driver and would have loved to skydive but was afraid of heights. Maggie also enjoyed gardening and playing cards with her friends Lynn and Wally. As a kid Mag had three dreams; to go to Hawaii, (she climbed Diamond Head), own a Corvette (had a brown one) and to build a log cabin (built one with sister Mary in Hancock). But what Mag was most proud of was her sobriety of 40 + years. Maggie’s legacy is not the log cabin she built, the wealth or other worldly goods she had, but it is found in how she lived her life, the lives she touched, the people she loved and the promises she kept.
Maggie is preceded in death by her parents Weston and Patricia Frisby, brothers Mike and Tim Frisby, twin sister Mary Schuh, brothers-in-law Jon Baldwin and Joe Forest and her special friend Monica Lynn.
She is survived by her sisters Carol Baldwin of Racine, Wisconsin, Patti Forest of Elburn, Illinois and Donna Frisby of Wild Rose, Wisconsin. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on April 25, 2026 at 12:00 noon in the Stahl celebration center in Wautoma Wisconsin. A light meal will follow the services. Interment will be in Illinois at a later date.
