Pearl B. Garlow, age 79, of Hancock, passed away suddenly May 20, 2025 at her home.
She was born April 22, 1946 in Neilsville, the daughter of Blanchard and Dolores (Schier) Boller. She married Edward D. Garlow on January 22, 1982 in Oakfield.
Pearl grew up in the Oakfield area. She was employed as an over the road truck driver and met the love of her life Ed. They later teamed up and drove together for over 43 years. Pearl was the first women to drive for Bird Trucking of Waupan. Pearl and Ed moved to rural Hancock in 1988 where they continued to drive truck together, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed tending bar at Sneaky Pete’s in Hancock.
She is survived by her husband, Edward “Ed” Garlow, Hancock; her children, Monica (Martin) Mendoza, Scott (Jill) Schrank, Dawn (Joseph) Carran, Alan (Yvette) Schrank , Robert Garlow, Amy (Chris ) Manske, Melissa (Roy) Adams, Mark (Mikyla) Garlow, 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Tiffany Schrank, Samantha Adams.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 12:00 noon in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of services. Pearl will be laid to rest in the Hancock Cemetery.
