Russell R. Marshall, age 100, passed away peacefully, Wednesday afternoon, November 1, 2023 at Heartland House, CBRF.
Russell was born January 29, 1923 in Town of Deerfield, Waushara County, the son of William E. and Jennie (Eager) Marshall. He married Charlotte A. Ellis on April 2, 1944 in Coloma.
Russell was a member of the Hancock United Church of Christ since 1957 where he served on the church council for several years. He was also a volunteer fireman for 59 years in Hancock and on the Village Board, Library committee and Deerfield Cemetery Board.
Russell loved to dance and spend time with family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Judy Ward, Plainfield (special friend, Kenneth Holmes, Berlin), Darrell (Judy) Marshall, Waukesha, Karen Neal, Hancock, Lloyd Marshall, Plainfield; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; his son-in-law, Andrew Jeffery, Plainfield; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Charlotte, son James Marshall two daughters, Jen Marshall and Donna Jeffery; sons-in-law, Robert Ward and Archie Neal and granddaughter, Lisa Marshall.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will be in the Plainfield Cemetery.
