Sharren E. Wendler

Sharren E. Wendler, age 83, of Byron, WI, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, Sunday morning, November 9, 2025 at her son’s home in Redgranite.

She was born February 4, 1943 in Dodge County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Earl A. and Gladys I. (Fischer) Schultz. She married Ronald R. Wendler.

She owned Sharren’s Country Tap Tavern in Byron, Wisconsin for several years. She was also employed at Bauer Feed and Grain, Inc. and Piggly Wiggly. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially feeding the birds and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and going out for Friday night fish fries.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald R. Wendler; her son, Jerry Wendler; three grandchildren, Josey, Cory and Michael; 10 great grandchildren; her sister, Lorae Zimmel; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

To honor Sharren’s wishes, private family services will be held.
