Theodore M. "Ted" Rose Jr.

Theodore “Ted” M. Rose Jr, age 72, of Plainfield, WI formerly of Janesville, WI, passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening, July 21, 2026 with his family at his side.

He was born October 3, 1953 in Johnstown Pennsylvania, the son of Theodore Rose Sr. and Shirley Ribblett. Ted married Mary Weissinger on July 20, 1985.

Ted retired from General Motors after 30 years. He and Mary moved to Plainfield in 2025 where they were building their dream home nestled in the beautiful Pines of central Wisconsin.  Ted enjoyed motorcycles and working on cars.

Ted shared his days with his wife, Mary; his daughters, Amanda OKane, Ashley (Matt) Trezek; grandchildren, Makayla, Logan, Jace, Kenlee, Mason, Carter.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter Belinda; sibling, Regina Rose; further survived by step-siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Theodore Rose Sr, step-father Robert Pollock, brother Barry Rose, sister Lori Rose.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 2nd from 1-4pm at The Salvation Army | Rock County, 514 Sutherland Ave in Janesville.
