Walter C. Billman

Walter Billman, age 82, passed away peacefully December 10, 2025 at House of the Dove in Marshfield.

He was born May 6, 1943 in Adams Friendship, the son of Clarence and Grace (Blair) Billman. He married the love of his life, Linda M. Steinbach on July 3, 1965.

Walter graduated from Tri-County High School in 1961 and later served in the National Guard for six years. He was employed at Consolidated Paper Mill in Wisconsin Rapids for 36 years until his retirement.

Walter is survived by his loving wife, Linda Billman, Plainfield; two daughters, Sherry (Scott) Hughes and Stacy (Brett) Bender; five grandchildren, Michael (Lynette) Hughes, Eric (Tiffany) Hughes, Hannah (Onil) Osorto, Nikki (Eric) Schwartzman and Kayla (Erik) Erdmann; 18 great grandchildren; a special sister-in-law, Sharon Billman and brother-in-law, Joe Farago; further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Dale, Glen, Russell and Lawrence and two sisters, Pearl and Margie; sisters-in-law, Melva and Sue and one great grandson and one brother-in-law, Bud McIntee.
