Caroline Lucht Obituary

Caroline Mollie (Zeinert) Lucht, passed peacefully at her home on January 14, 2023. She was born December 15, 1943 in Appleton, Wisconsin to the late Alfred and Ella (Herzfeldt) Zeinert. She worked as a machine operator at Presto Products, Inc. until her retirement. She was a devoted member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca.

She was a caring and loving wife who thought the world of her family and spending time with her grandchildren who would become the center of her life after her retirement.  She enjoyed family gatherings, sewing, canning, baking her delicious apple pies, traveling, watching birds out her window, putting together puzzles and occasionally sneaking off to the casino with Herbert to plug quarters in the slot machine. She had a quick wit and keen sense of humor that was infectious and treasured by those she loved.

She is survived by her sisters, Geneva Moericke and Sally Schmitt (Sonny Beyer), sister in laws; Ardyce Douglas, Joan Zeinert,  Rebecca Livermore, Ann Zeinert and Irene Zeinert, brother in laws; Dave Hansen, Robert Lucht, John Lucht (Barbara) and Christian Shomberg.

She is further survived by her grandchildren Dr. Kelly Olson (Cassidi Olson), Charlotte Bergsbaken, Cole Bergsbaken (fiancé Cassie Behreandt), Jaclyn Lucht, Julius Lucht, Jarrett Lucht, Jade Lucht, Brooke Blader-Lucht and Bailey Blader-Lucht and great grandchildren, Oliver Olson, Eleanor Olson, and Edith Olson, nieces, nephews and friends who will all miss her deeply.

Caroline Lucht was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Kenneth Zeinert, Eugene Zeinert and Marvin Zeinert, her sisters, Geraldine Hansen and Elaine Ploetz, sisters-in-law; Delores Lucht, and Lila Lucht and brothers-in-law, John Douglas, Jeremiah Lucht,  Frederick Lucht, John Moericke and her grandson James Lucht.
