Delmer Kemnetz Obituary


   Delmer "Del" Kemnetz, age 80, of Hancock, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 5th, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
   Del was born on April 7, 1941 on the family farm in Hancock to Vilas and Isabell (Briese) Kemnetz. Del worked a variety of positions through the years and enjoyed farming on the side, eventually joining the Waushara County Highway Department. Del married the love of his life, Nancy Krueger on April 27, 1996. Del lived a complete and full life, filling it with the love of his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time on the family farm, restoring countless old cars and then showing them off at the area car shows. Del also had a love of stock car racing, bowling, and always loved a good polka dance.
   Del is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children: Dawn (Joe) Pray, Josh (Kelly Jean) Kemnetz, DeLyn (Wade) Schafer, Zach Kemnetz, Chris (Tania) Prybylski, Gayle (Andrew) Guzman and Gary (Angela) Prybylski; his grandchildren: Mykayla Kemnetz, Zalelyn Kemnetz, Caleb Kemnetz, Kendall Schafer, Brolan Schafer, Danielle Kemnetz-Ossmenn, Kiley Vander Meulen and Melina Vander Meulen; his siblings: Carol (Dave) Fowler, Janet (Paul) Galetka, Keith Kemnetz; he is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
   He was preceded in death by his parents. 
Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at the Wesleyan Church. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A private burial will take place at the Hancock Cemetery at a later date.
