Kenneth Chamberlain Obituary

Kenneth M. Chamberlain, age 92, of Bancroft, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, October 2, 2022 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.

He was born September 9, 1930 in Waushara County, the son of Milton and Clara (Lorbiecki) Chamberlain. He married Patricia J. Franks on July 7, 1952 in New Jersey. She preceded Ken in death on July 9, 2016.

Ken grew up in the Plainfield area and was employed at the Wisconsin Rapids Paper Mill for 29 years.  Ken loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, trap shooting and annual hunting trips to Montana.  He loved farming and raising beef cattle but most of all, spending time with his family.

He is survived by his two sons, Randy Chamberlain and Craig Chamberlain; his grandchildren, Trish (Jamie McPherson) Chamberlain and Lindsey (Matt) Smith; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Kenny, Tyler, Jayce, Kalli and Blake; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister and grandson, Scott.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of services. Burial with full military honors will be in the Plainfield Cemetery.
