LeeAnn S. McCauley, age 58, of Plainfield passed away peacefully, Monday afternoon, November 29, 2021 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.
She was born January 14, 1963 in California the daughter of Frank and JoAnn (Storlie) Smiley. She married Thomas D. McCauley on July 27, 2002.
LeeAnn moved to Plainfield in 1977 where she attended Tri-County High School graduating in 1981. LeeAnn was an active member of the community where she served as Special Deputy for the Waushara County Sherriff Department for many years. She served on the Hancock Fire Department and was employed at the Hancock Mini Mart and managed the Bancroft Quik Mart.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas D. McCauley; her son, Thomas McCauley Jr.; her brothers, Frank “Gus” Smiley, Mark (Sue) Smiley, Chris (Michelle) Smiley and numerous nieces, nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews.
LeeAnn was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Jo Ann Smiley, her siblings Lyle David Smiley, Christine Marie Smiley, Cynthia Smiley, Kaylene Peterson and Bruce Smiley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield and from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hancock Cemetery.
