Mary E. (Drake) Sharp

    Mary E. Sharp, age 52, of Wautoma, WI collapsed unexpectedly at home on August 21, 2020. She died the following day at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah on Saturday afternoon, August 22, 2020.

    Mary was born on April 26, 1968 in Port Washington, WI to David S. and Patricia M. Drake. Mary was a 1986 graduate of Port Washington High School. She graduated with her technical degree in cosmetology from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1987. On July 8, 1989 she married the love of her life, Donald Sharp.

    Mary was a talented cosmetologist, with over 30 years of experience. She owned her own salon, Mary’s Sharp Styles, for 17 years. Mary loved the time that she spent with her clients and she loved being able to make people look and feel their best. In recent years, Mary also worked as an in-home caregiver. Mary cared deeply for others and her constant selflessness was inspiring.

    Mary’s hobbies included bowling, playing scrabble, camping, spending time in Upper Michigan near Lake Superior, and spending time with her family and loved ones.

    Mary is survived by her husband, Donald Sharp; her children, Angelina, Carolyn, Sky, and Joaquin Sharp; her grandchildren, Adeline, Avery, and Evan Raymond; her siblings, Dave Drake, Mark and Sue Drake, John and Cindy Drake, Matt Drake, and Dion Drake; her beloved dog, Sally; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

    Mary was preceded in death by her parents, David and Patricia Drake; her brother, Randy Drake; and her niece, Krystal Drake.

    A viewing, visitation, and celebration of life will be held at the Stahl Celebration and Remembrance Center, W9754 State Road 21/73 in Wautoma on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm with a time to share memories at 5:00 pm. 

A memorial has been established in Mary's name.
