Peggy Dobrecevich Obituary

Peggy Ann (Hanson) Dobrecevich, age 93, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully on Dec 20th at Thedacare of Neenah.  

Peggy was born Dec 20th, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI to Selmar and Olga (Schmoller) Hanson. 

She was a graduate of Custer High. Shortly after high school,  she met the late Emil Dobrecevich. They were married April 15, 1950. He proceeded her in death on May 8th, 2000.
They had 5 children and also raised a grandson together.  She was the best mom ever, our love forever and a day. 

Peggy was a member of Hope Lutheran Church of Wautoma.  She enjoyed making crafts and attending craft fairs, going dancing with her husband, gambling, playing bingo, playing cards with her family and traveling.  She cherished her few winters spent with her children in Florida,  Montana and Nevada. 
She also enjoyed watching her Green Bay Packers, but most of all,  she especially loved to cheer on her great grandson, Mason, at his baseball games.  

Peggy is survived by her 3 children, Jeffrey Dobrecevich, Wautoma, Daniel (Rita) Dobrecevich, Helena MT, Jennifer Dobrecevich, Pensacola FL, and her beloved grandson, Derick (Laura) Dobrecevich, Wautoma. 

Other survivors include, her grandchildren, Jeffrey Dobrecevich, Nicole Pridmore, Justin Dobrecevich,  Stephanie (fiancé  Jason Tucker) Giebel, Courtney Van Horn, Amanda (Andy) Gomez, Heather Houston, Austin (Greta) Dobrecevich,  Megan (Tyler Goff) Reynolds, Kristina Salvadori, Kelly Campbell, 12 great grandchildren, Kate, Hailey, Mason, Gabrielle,  Gavin, Josephine, Mathew, Luke, Felicity, Lucia, Lyndon and Charlie. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

In addition to her husband, she was proceeded in death by her two daughters, Deborah and Lisa, her parents  Selmar and Olga Hanson, her brother and sister in law Daniel and Betty Hanson, her sister and brother in law Gloria and Leroy Goehring, parents in law Rade and Boya Dobrecevich , brother in law and sister in law Louis and Marian Dobrich and other relatives and friends. 

Stahl Funeral Home will be assisting the family with a celebration of life on January 29th, 2022 from 1:00pm-6:00pm at Stahl Celebration and Remembrance Center, W7452 State Rd 21/73 Wautoma, WI 54982
