Richard Zywicki

Richard  J. Zywicki, age 48, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 at home surrounded by family after a long battle with kidney disease. 

He was born November 20, 1974 in Wild Rose, the son of John “Jack”  and Rebecca (Gear) Zywicki. 

Richard worked many jobs, his favorites being his families restaurant “Rons”, American Fence and Tatoo Artist. In his free time, he enjoyed coin collecting, metal detecting, watching movies and playing with his cats.

Richard is survived by his parents, John “Jack” & Rebecca Zywicki; sons, Trevor, Zachary and Scott; his daughter, Morgan; grandchildren, Sigdrifa, Theodora, Marilyn and Khala; two honorary daughters, Cassie Adillah and Alexis Dugenske; his siblings, Jim (Angie) Zywicki, John (Emily) Zywicki, Ken (Lindsey) Zywicki and Jennifer Zywicki; maternal grandmother, Mary Gear;  Holly (mother of his youngest son Scott who acted as his caregiver and remained close friends with during his time on hospice.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Evelyn and Leonard Zywicki, and maternal grandfather, Richard Gear and an uncle, Rick Gear.
