Rev. Ronald Charles Verdine went to his heavenly home March 21, 2023. He was born to Sylvia Deuel Verdine (Phillips) and Norbert Verdine on May 30, 1948.
Ron grew up on the White River and spent much of his life hunting and fishing with his brothers. He became an over-the-road truck driver, which was his career until his retirement. He had a passion for Christ which led him to becoming an ordained minister and served in jail ministries. He touched the lives of many!
Ron is survived by his children: Tammy Alexander, Thomas (Shelby) Verdine, Ronald James Verdine Jr., Deena (Dirk) Verheyen and Brandi Crideliche; his brothers, Rodney (Marie) Verdine, William (Roslyn) Phillips, Kevin (Vanessa) Verdine and Chris (Tiffany) Verdine; sister-in-law, Sue Verdine; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sylvia Phillips, Norbert and Bonnie Verdine, his brothers, Gerald and Randall Verdine, his daughter, Michelle Lipke and grandson, Tanner Lipke and a Goddaughter, Teri Huffman.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the Stahl Celebration & Remembrance Center, Wautoma. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be held on Monday at the Wautoma Union Cemetery.
