Ruth Dehling Obituary

Ruth B. (Klabunde) Dehling, of Wautoma formerly of Coloma passed away peacefully Monday morning, November 8, 2021 at Heartland House in Wautoma, just 10 days after the love of her life Robert passed away.

Ruth was born on her family farm on January 26, 1928 in the town of Deerfield. Ruth married the love of her life, Bob on a cold day on March 22, 1951. They then had their son Gary together. Ruth was a stay-at-home mother, raising Gary, and doing all the bookwork for Dehling Construction. She enjoyed making super good meals, gardening, fishing, playing cards, family time, listening to country western music, going out to dinner on Sundays with Bob, and watching for Cardinals which she loved very much. Ruthie was one of the sweetest, most giving ladies ever and always made sure everyone in her family was well taken care of. She loved to spoil the great grandchildren with cookies, and snacks whenever she could.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Debbie Dehling of Coloma, her grandchildren Christopher Dehling of Coloma, and Kristina Dehling (Mike Otto) of Coloma. Her great grandchildren who she loved very much, Brooke DeBord, Treyten Roos, Adelyn Dehling, Maycee Bloss and Aspen Dehling-Otto.

She was preceded in death by her parents, in laws, brothers, sisters, husband (10-30-21) son (11-26-20) and many other relatives. She is now at rest and back with her two main men who she thought the world of! Just want to give a special thank you to the staff at Heartland House and the Staff with Agnesian Hospice. To honor Ruth’s wishes, no services will be held.
