Thomas Hopp

Thomas “Tom” Hopp, age 75, of Neshkoro, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 after a short illness. 

He was born July 25, 1947 in Berlin, the son of Andrew and Evelyn (Nourse) Hopp.  He married Shirley Lorenz on July 12, 1969 in Berlin.  She preceded him in death on June 14,2019.

Thomas served his country in the United States Army.  After his services in the Army, he began working at the Berlin Foundry and retired in 2011.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and cutting wood. 

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Sheriff, Neshkoro; his grandchildren, Nakisha (Kent Frailing) Hopp, Cody (Anna Hull) Sheriff; great granddaughter, Kaylee Frailing and great grandson, Kolton Frailing; brother, James (Theresa) Hopp; sisters, Sherry (Gary) Krueger, Dolores( Lyndon) Luker, Patrcia Cook and Karen (Dean) Petraszak; Brother in law Dennis (Jean) Lorenz and sister in law Nina Hopp. He is  further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Elizabeth. Brothers; Eugene, Donald, and Andrew. Sister Elaine and many other relatives.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Berlin.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Stahl Funeral and Cremation Services assisted the family with arrangements, www.stahlfuneralhome.com
