Walter Anderson Obituary

Walter G. Anderson, age 95, of Wisconsin Veterans Home, King and formerly of Plainfield, passed away Saturday morning, July 10, 2021 at the Veterans Home in King.

He was born March 21, 1926 in Trimble, Ohio the son of Pearl and Nellie (Barrett) Anderson.  He married Leone Baughman on April 25, 1957. She preceded him in death on September 7, 2001. 

Walter served his country in the United States Army during World War II.  He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing and spending time with family.  He also enjoyed photography and reading the Bible. 

He is survived by his two sons, Paul Anderson and Tim (Diana) Anderson; seven grandchildren, April, Ava, Audra, Shelby, Alejandra, Luis and Lisseth; two great grandchildren, Aleea and Clyde; his sister-in-law, Kate Anderson; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William and one sister, Helen.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday July 14, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until time of services.  Graveside services with full military honors will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hancock Cemetery.
